El proyecto consiste en el planeamiento de un nuevo campus universitario que sirva a la ciudad de Lisboa y la proyección de un edificio que funcione como edificio central y centro cívico en el lugar. Tras analizar mediante un estudio DAFO el  mejor lugar donde la nueva universidad debe establecerse, se eligió el distrito histórico de Baixa para implantarlo. El proyecto no sólo consigue dotar a la ciudad de espacios universitarios necesarios, sino que también se consigue regenerar y dar vida al actualmente degradado centro de Lisboa.

The project purpose was to plan a new university campus in Lisbon and to design a building that works as the central building of the university and also as the civic center of the neighborhood. After analyzing Lisbon with a SWOT, the historic district of Baixa was found the best place to establish the campus. The project not only gives the city new needed academic spaces, but also helps  regenerating  and bringing to life the  degraded  center of Lisbon.
